Tax and Compliance
US partners receive a 1099-NEC. International partners are paid via wire and file a W-8BEN. We guide you through it. Takes about five minutes.

Minimum Engagement Size
Referrals must involve an engagement of at least $25K. Smaller engagements can still be submitted and reviewed case-by- case.
Payment Schedul.
T&M rewards paid within 15 days of client payment received. Fixed-scope rewards paid per defined milestone. Simple statement each time.

12-Month Credit Window

Your first payout arrives within fifteen days of Brickclay collecting payment from the referred client. For T&M engagements, that’s typically 60 to 90 days after the introduction, depending on how quickly the engagement starts.
Absolutely. There’s no cap on the number of referrals. Each valid referral is tracked and compensated independently. Some of our most active partners refer three to five clients a year.
If the client pauses, your reward clock pauses too. You don’t lose your twelve-month window. Rewards resume when the engagement resumes. If a project is cancelled before completion, you receive payment for all milestones already delivered and collected.
Not at all. After the introduction, Brickclay handles sales, scoping, delivery, and client management. You’re welcome to stay in touch with the client (they’re your relationship), but there’s no obligation or expectation.
No penalty, no negative consequence. We appreciate the introduction regardless. If the timing wasn’t right, we let you know. And if they come back later, your referral credit still stands for twelve months from the original intro.
International partners are paid via bank wire in USD. A W-8BEN is required for US tax compliance. All payouts are USD; your receiving bank handles any currency conversion at their prevailing rate.
For T&M, your 7% applies to all billed revenue within your twelve-month window, including scope expansions. For fixed-scope, if the client adds a new SOW, we’ll discuss whether it qualifies for additional referral rewards.
