Sr. Graphics Designer

We are looking for a creative professional who uses design software and skills to create visual concepts that communicate ideas and messages to an audience. You’ll be working on a variety of projects, including branding, advertising, websites, and product marketing. The goal is to create visually appealing designs that meet project goals in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with clients or art directors to determine the scope of a project and create a concept that meets the client's needs and goals.
  • Creating and manipulating images, typography, and other design elements to create visually appealing designs.
  • Choosing colors, images, and typefaces to effectively communicate the desired message.
  • Preparing finished designs for print or online use.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure that designs remain fresh and relevant.
  • Presenting design concepts to clients and making revisions as needed.
  • Working with developers and programmers to ensure that designs are translated effectively to the web or other digital mediums.
  • Continuously updating and expanding their design skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Strong visual design skills, including the ability to create visually appealing designs using color, typography, and imagery.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong attention to detail, allowing them to catch and correct any mistakes in their designs.
  • Creativity and imagination, to develop unique and innovative design concepts.
  • Communication skills, to effectively present design concepts to clients and work with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills, to find creative solutions to design challenges.
  • Technical skills, to understand the technical requirements of different mediums (e.g. web, print, video) and ensure that designs can be effectively produced in those mediums.
  • Time management skills, to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Adaptability, to be able to work within a variety of industries and on different types of projects.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography and layout.
  • Continuously updating skills and knowledge in new software, technologies, trends and best practices in design industry.
